Welcome To Mason Jar Records

Mason Jar Records is a boutique record label devoted primarily to jambands and psychedelic rock bands. The label tends to focus on bands that are gaining critical mass but need that first professional album to crack through the glass ceiling from local/regional pub band to getting festival, garnering media coverage, and quitting the day jobs.

Mason Jar Records is not staffed with any full time employees, so we will aim for one to two releases per year during the first phase of the label (years 1-5). Ultimately, the goal of the label is to develop a bulletproof reputation for taste and honesty, and then in phase 2 after we learn the business and find our fit in the evolving recorded music landscape, we will aim to leverage the relationships and know how to develop a more serious endeavor. Currently, the label is more of a labor of love with the sole focus of learning and making great music with bands we know and trust.
